Boppa FAQ.

Short, plain answers about the arcade, the builder, the board and $BOPPA.

What is Boppa?

Boppa is a bouncing arcade on Robinhood Chain. You steer a round character across inflatable arenas, bounce off pads and springs, collect stars and reach the flag. You can also draw your own arena on a 16 by 10 grid, share it as a link, and publish it to a public on-chain board where players post their best scores.

How does Boppa work?

The game runs entirely in your browser on fixed physics steps, so the same inputs always give the same run. An arena is a list of 160 tiles; its fingerprint (a keccak-256 hash of the tiles) is what the BoppaArenaBoard contract stores together with a name and the creator's address. Scores are sent by the player's own wallet and each wallet keeps one best per arena.

Do I need a wallet to play?

No. The arcade, the builder, share links and the weekly challenge all work without a wallet. A wallet is only needed to publish an arena or record a score on the board.

Are scores on the board checked?

No. Scores are self-reported: the contract stores what a wallet sends and cannot see the game being played. Each record carries a fingerprint of the run's inputs, but the board does not replay it. Treat the board as a public scrapbook, not a referee.

What does publishing or recording cost?

Only the network gas on Robinhood Chain. The board has no fee, no owner and no admin, and it never holds funds. The board contract is live.

How do I buy $BOPPA?

$BOPPA has not launched yet. The official contract address will be published on this site at launch; until then, any token using the name is not ours.

Which network is Boppa on?

Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663), an EVM network that uses ETH for gas. Connecting a wallet on this site offers to add the network for you.

Are the crew characters NFTs?

No. The twelve characters are original drawings anyone can play as for free; picking one only changes how your runs look and is stored in your browser. Collectible skins and items are planned and not part of this build.

What is $BOPPA used for?

Right now, nothing inside the game: $BOPPA is a memecoin. Possible uses later (cosmetic items, content access, creator services) are planned and undecided, and holding the token promises none of them.

What are the risks?

$BOPPA can lose all of its value. The board contract has not been independently reviewed yet, scores on it are self-reported, and everything on the roadmap may change. Never trust a contract address that is not shown on this site.
